The ProTAPER® 780 DH is everything a downhill bar needs to be – strong, wide, and low. It features ProTAPER® technology to put added strength in the clamp and rise sections without adding excess weight at the ends of the bar. Cutmarks make it easy to cut to your desired length.
I have somewhat long arms so the 780mm felt very comfortable and natural! The width of the bars made the steepest descents feel much more stable! The price is also very reasonable!
These bars are fantastic! I chose them due to wanting greater width for more control on the rough and fast sections on the trails, they have more than met my expectations! Straight away I felt that I had greater control. I did fear that they were going to be too wide, but after running them for a few months now, I am completely comfortable with the full 780mm width. If I wanted to cut them down, answer have incorporate a great measurement feature on the surface of the handle bar, to save you measuring. This is a nice touch, makes you feel that Answer have thought about all of the riders needs! I have owned many bars from Syncros, Raceface, Sunline, Eastern etc… I’m now sold on the Answers bars and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another pair! Stiff, Strong, Wide & Low = Perfect!
I just installed a 1/2″ rise the other day. Like the AM bar, it has perfect sweep and bend. It’s easy on the wrists and hands and helps you stay low in an attack position.
I just wish they had a 1.5″ steerer stem to go with it!

got me a black and red one on a Manitou Dorado Carbon..So tough and gave me better handling, made me a more confident rider.. LOVE LOTS to Answer!!
